The lodge is pretty close to the Pelican Lake. I’d recommend watching the sunrise& sunset. It’s extremely beautiful.

Owners were friendly, down-to-earth, flexible, and helpful. Location is great. The place we stayed at was quiet and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful get-away.

Great place to stay. Super clean. Kitchen and bathroom were great. Such an amazing lake. You can rent boats. They have things for kids to do. Well worth it. I have already told so many people how great it was and that they need to check it out. The only downsides were 2.5 things. We stated in the lodge apartment under the lodge itself. If there is people upstairs enjoying the lodge you can hear the footsteps. Not that big of a deal because there was not many people ever up there. The entrance to lodge is a little confusing. Our door was right next to the lodge door and more then once we had someone walk into our place looking for the lodge. Sort of strange when you are laying on the sofa or eating dinner and someone walks in. We had some chairs out front and a picnic table and we had people sitting at them while someone was in the lodge. So it is not the most private place. Also the workers are always coming and going. The biggest issue I had was the beds were very uncomfortable for us. If you like rock hard beds then you will love it. I slept very little while I was there. Not having AC was really not that big of a deal. They had fans and there usually was a breeze to open the windows. All in all I really liked the place and recommend it to everyone.
