This place is a wonderful location for our family! It has plenty of space and worked for all ages. Little nappers could quietly rest in rooms above, while teenage kids could play games in attic room and everyone came and went from eating to visiting below. Beds are so comfortable, you actually sleep soundly. What a great place!!
Great place for a large group of easy walking to anywhere downtown.
This historic home was a terrific place to stay. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed, dishes, utensils and cooking ware for us to host a large crowd.. Scott was extremely responsive to our emails and provided great information on the history of the Apple Blossom House.
This was the perfect location for my big extended family to start the new year together! It's a beautiful historic home, but not decorated in a way that we had to worry about the little kids running around and breaking something. The teens (and some of us adults :)) appreciated being one block from main street so we walked there almost every day for shopping, ice cream or a coffee shop. The kitchen and dinning room are great for big family meals and games. And Scott was very responsive and helpful. Great location, great value!!

I am an Army colonel with 27 years of service and my wife is a career diplomat. I have been stationed all over the world to include Panama, Canada, Europe, and multiple tours to the Middle East. My wife is originally from England and has also been stationed throughout Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. We love to travel the world and see new things. The “Apple Blossom” is our future retirement home in my hometown of Spearfish. Although we have both lived around the world, we love the quaint feel of Spearfish and the very active community. We also enjoy camping, cycling, hiking and winter sports such as downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and ice skating. My hometown of Spearfish in the Black Hills of SD has all of these things in abundance. For now, we enjoy spending the Holidays in the Apple Blossom and hosting large groups of relatives for Family get-togethers. We hope you enjoy the Apple Blossom as much as we do!
