This villa is in a great location, walking distance to the beach and peaceful surroundings. The host wasn’t great at communication and didn’t respond to me about what we should do about the bins so we guessed and walked them to a local drop off area. The electronic lock doesn’t work very well on the front door, a normal key would be much better. The beds aren’t very comfortable, extremely hard. You will either need a car or Uber to local amenities and shops. Overall we had a lovely stay, but communication could be better and comfier beds would be great.

Great location, beach only a 15 minute walk away. Mini market just down the road. However the villa itself needs a lot of tlc. The beds are really uncomfortable, and some of the pillows had stains on it. No welcome pack or anything. Had to buy basic items like toilet roll and washing up liquid. I think it’s very expensive for the villa we got

We were told that instructions on how to access the property on arrival would be emailed to us. Didn’t receive said email and despite several attempts to contact someone for access instructions we still didn’t know how to get into the villa until we arrived at 10:30 pm when someone was at the property with the key. Quite stressful as we had a child and an elderly disabled person in our party. Villa as shown but decor needs updating and property needs a thorough clean. Lack of instructions on how to deal with recycling and general rubbish. Lack of information regarding location of local amenities, attractions, supermarkets, waste disposal bins etc. Despite these issues we thoroughly enjoyed the holiday but would chose a different area next time.

Very close to the beach, with restaurants, beautiful trails, and a nice grocery store nearby. We liked the space, which was perfect for our group of 6. The hosts were responsive in getting an issue fixed with the pool. The only negative is that the beds are very firm and may not be suitable for people with back injuries. Overall, we had a great stay.

The house is lovely comfortable and very convenient for the beach. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. You also have some nice beach clubs and hotels nearby where you can have a drink or something to eat. And loads of restaurants down by the fabulous beach. All within walking distance. Some slightly further away but still doable. The boardwalk is amazing and stretches for several kilometres. João was very friendly and helpful,he met my husband at the house with the keys. I came the next day. He answered any questions we had very promptly. The house is a spacious comfortable lived-in house. If a little dark in the bedrooms but at least they don’t get too hot! The bedrooms are very big. There is plenty of space. The pool is great and there is a lot of seating, and sun beds and a dining table. There are also 2 terraces upstairs. We didn’t use that terraced area as it was still quite hot weather for us, the upstairs terrace was untidy looking and the furniture up there is old looking and very shabby. But it didn’t matter as the space by the pool is very big. All the equipment you would expect is in the house, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, hairdryer etc. Toys for kids… The coffee machine is a Dolce Gusto. So you’ll need to get some pods if you want a coffee straightaway when you arrive like us. We were a bit surprised that there was no “welcome pack”, for the price of the rental we felt it should’ve been included! No bottle of water, no coffee pods (or a bottle of wine!) So we had to go straight back up the road to the supermarket. There were dishwasher tabs and condiments and a few other things there, like soap and loo paper. We did think the house was very expensive. We paid 25% less last year for a beautiful house in pristine condition only around the corner through an agency at the exact same time of the year. We had no hot water for 3 days. Tepid the first two days but cold by the 3rd. We thought we were just taking our showers at the wrong time but it turned out that the MCB switches for the water heater in the fuse box were turned off. Overall, besides the small issues above, I want to give a very positive review. We had a lovely holiday. The house is nice, lived in, but very comfortable and very convenient with a fab pool and pool area. What more could you ask for! No hesitation in recommending it.
