Dan and Judy are fantastic hosts. They think of everything when furnishing their space for their guests. We felt like this was the perfect retreat for our family of five when visiting Yosemite Nat. Park in the wintertime. It was easy to cook, there was plenty of extra heaters to make the house cosy in December and the game room with pingpong pool and air hockey was a big plus. Oakhurst is very close to shop for groceries and it only takes 35 min to reach the south entrance of the nat. park. I totally recommend staying at the bunkhouse.

It was wonderful staying with Dan and Judy! They were gracious hosts, who went above and beyond to provide a peaceful and restful stay. I appreciated their thoughtfulness. They helped me choose the best hiking locations in Yosemite, places to eat, and even had small toiletries in case I forgot to pack the essentials. Even though my stay was brief, whenever I go back to Yosemite next, I will be sure to stay at the Bunker again!

We enjoyed very much staying in the Bunkhouse, thank you very much for the hospitality. We enjoyed the game room, board games and the Poppy bread. We had an amazing day trip at Yosemite. The Bunkhouse was very clean and well organized. The hosts are very kind and friendly and knowledgable about the surrounding areas. They gave us tips for our Yosemite trip. Very peaceful surroundings and we enjoyed our stay!

Judy was amazing in making sure we understand all the house rules and was even there to greet us upon checkin. They went above and beyond to make our stay at the Bunkhouse a memorable one. The plate of baked cookies was also a pleasant surprise. I would definitely stay here again.
