We loved our stay at Rockin Star Ranch - the cabins are well kitted out for a few days stay with comfortable beds and a small kitchenette/BBQ for making your meals. We stayed in Rising Star Ranch and in the morning you could see the sunrise from our bedroom window. The ranch is amazing with cows, goats, pigs, birds and two friendly dogs Lacota and Bailey. Rockin Star Ranch is run by a proud Texan Darrell who led our guided horse ride around the ranch - we got to learn how to groom the horses and tack up too. We are on a 2 week road trip and loved the three night stay on the ranch, it was a great respite from the busy citites. It was so beautiful and quiet. The ranch has a lovely swimming pool for guests, a games room with a pool table and darts etc and three ponds for wildlife watching. We went to the ice-cream factory for a tour, we saw the wildflower meadows and went shopping for Texas clothing at the South Texas Tack store, a must if your visiting Brenham for cowboy stuff

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The only thing we wish we could’ve changed was to be able to stay there longer. It was very easy to contact Darrell and he met us outside and showed us to our room even though we arrived much later than we expected. he even took us out into the field to meet the newest baby goat! we will definitely be staying here again and plan on bringing more family and friends. The surrounding is just beautiful and peaceful and extremely elegant. We will definitely be staying again in the future.
