Appartement spacieux avec de très beaux volumes et beaucoup de cachet, idéalement situé dans le centre historique de Blois. Certains aménagements plus contemporains sont un peu défraichis (cuisine, sanitaires) et conçus de telle sorte que l'on manque d'intimité dans l'une des deux chambres (séparée du reste de l'appartement par un meuble qui ne va pas jusqu'au plafond et non par un mur/cloison), ainsi que dans l'une des deux salle d'eau/WC (portes type saloon). Très bon accueil de Jean-Marc.

A fantastic, magical apartment in a prime spot in Blois. Huge amount of space and elegantly furnished. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Jean-Marc was a charming and responsive host. Highly recommended!

Jean-Marc was an excellent host. He was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was unique and beautiful and it was an excellent place to be based while exploring the Loire valley. One thing to note is the layout of the apartment. It was not clear in the listing that the second bedroom and bathroom are not entirely private, as you have to pass through both to enter and exit the master bedroom and reach the rest of the house. The second bathroom is essentially the hallway between the first and second bedrooms, so that may be an important consideration depending on who you are travelling with and how much privacy you want. Apart from that, the apartment was very comfortable and quiet, and we really enjoyed our stay. We recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a unique, historical and well-appointed home in the Loire valley.

Wow. This place is magical so we extended our stay. We loved everything about it. It is a huge apartment with a very large living room, separate dining room, two bedrooms and two baths and a terrace not pictured. Located in old center down narrow cobble stone street. It was very hot during our week in the area. Leaving all the windows closed until 10pm we then opened and cool air every night. The two fans also helped. It can be noisy at night since we left the windows open as the building is like 20 meters from a few bars. We always bring earplugs when we travel since we prefer sleeping with windows open. This is not the country but a lively town so expect some noise. Several smaller supermarkets nearby and many bars and restaurants as well. Parking was simple by the Loire. Free parking was an 8 minute walk or closer cost 5 Euros for 24 hours. Beds were comfortable, showers were great. Loved having washer, dryer and dishwasher. The kitchen was very well stocked. Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful apartment. Pros: Easy to communicate with host. Flexible checkout time. Gorgeous and spacious apartment. Comfy beds, good shower, perfect location in town, 1 block from the Loire River. Great Laundry and Dryer. Dishwasher was helpful too, and it was nice they had paper towels and some wraps for food, etc. Cons: Wifi was slow, I had trouble with Teams and Zoom calls for work. No issue if you just want to check email or social media, but wanted to drawn attention for remote workers. They tried resetting the system, but unfortunately that didn't help. As others have noted, there is a bar down the street that can be a bit loud on weekends. Ear plugs solved this for me. A few fans which were wonderful, but in August the apartment does get warm during the day - probably not an issue for 10 months out of the year, just something to know if you are staying in August...
