Though this homestay nestled in a quite residential area, one needs to cross a busy bazar to reach at this place. This bazaar reflects the typical Indian commercial setup, having both cheap and valuable commodities brushing their shoulders at the same ground. The guests call this neighborhood the most convenient area to live in, having all facilities with in close proximity - restaurants, shops, roadside tea stalls, laundry service, pharmacy, temples, morning- walk area, schools, 24 x 7 transport service at door step, and walk-able distance to rail station (1.5 km), airport (20 minutes drive 4.8 km).

Many tourists make a mistake by staying at Puri. They spend a day or two at Bhubaneswar and then go for Puri and stay there for another few days. Puri has two main attractions - Shree Jagannath Temple and the seashore. But few tourists know that living at Puri is more expensive. Therefore most tourists prefer to stay at Bhubaneswar and make a day's trip to Puri and return back by night. There are 24x7 Ola service available at door step for Puri. The local bus service is available in a cheaper price. So it's more preferable to stay at Bhubaneswar and make day trips to Puri and next day to Konark, the famous Sun temple.
One needs at least a week's time to have a good look of entire Bhubaneswar only. Besides, Bhubaneswar is a great city for tourists being a part of the golden triangle - Puri, Konark and Bhubaneswar. It is the hub of Odissi dance academies. Tourists typically divide their sightseeing agenda in to the 4 category:
1. Visiting the temple architecture
2. A visit to Khandagiri, Udaygiri and Dhauligiri (the later is in the other side of the first two, away from them)
3. (A) Nandan Kanan - the first zoo in India to join World Association of Zoos and Aquariums (WAZA) in 2009.
(B) Chandaka wildlife sanctuary
4. The handicraft markets at Ekamra Haat and Unit 2 Market Complex.
5. Besides these, there are numerous museums worthy of a look through them.
Visiting the temples starts with famous Bhubaneswar temples including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Rajrani and Mukteswar temple etc. These are and few others are the most prominent temples of Bhubaneswar, constructed in the Kalinga School of Temple Architecture style and known as the 'gem of Odisha architecture. These temples have their history spanning from 6th century to twelve century. At least two days visit need for a full view of these temples. Few tourists are aware of a tantric temple here called the 64 Yogini Temple.
There are tribal museum (closed on Monday ), Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves ( oldest rock cut caves, the caves are reminiscent of influence of Jainism in Odisha and Dhauligiri - the Budhist abode, here at Dhauligiri, a light & sound programme runs at every evening.
Nandankanan Zoo (closed on Monday and this Zoo is famous for the white tiger safari and Botanical garden).
Once the tourists finish all these, they can go for outstation places like Chilika, Bhitar Kanika, Simulipaal, etc.
