Very large, renovated house perfect for big groups or families. There are 4 bedrooms and a rumpus which can sleep up to 11 guests. Warm and inviting property, extremely well situated on Hobart’s Eastern Shore with a 10-minute stroll to Hobart’s largest Shopping Centre and a 10 minutes' drive to Hobart Airport and CBD/Salamanca. The property also enjoys beautiful views to Mount Wellington. An excellent starting point for your vacation, particularly if you plan to visit Port Arthur or Richmond. 4 bedrooms, and a rumpus which can sleep up to 11 guests. The home also has a lockable garage,2.5 bathrooms. two living areas and a large deck and BBQ for entertaining. From the moment you arrive at The Residence you will be astonished by the space and luxury this property has to offer. The photos give you a sense of how amazing it is, but when you arrive you are sure to be impressed. The garage could accommodate 2 small cars or 1 larger car and there is also free off-street parking outside in the Visitors Spot. UPPER LEVEL As you enter via the external staircase you are greeted by the large lounge, kitchen and dining area. In the lounge you will find a comfortable sofa (which can also convert to a double bed if required) and extra comfortable chairs for relaxing and watching your favourite shows on the flat screen TV. We also provide Free WiFi and Netflix and there’s even a playstation and board games to keep the kids occupied in the rumpus. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you would need for enjoying meals at home. There’s reverse cycle air conditioning to keep the home cosy warm in Winter and cool in Summer. Upstairs you will find the Master Bedroom with an extremely comfortable queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom also has a comfortable queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom has two single beds. There is wall heating in all bedrooms to keep you comfortably warm in winter. - LOWER LEVEL Heading downstairs you will find the rumpus room with a lounge that converts into a comfortable sofa bed plus a 50 inch tv. There’s also a large bedroom downstairs with a comfortable queen size bed and a single bed. For larger groups, there’s a separate 2 bedroom unit downstairs (The Retreat at 165, listed on Airbnb) which can sleep 6 people. So the entire property can sleep a total of 17 guests. And for even larger groups, we also have The Villa at 165 (also on Airbnb), which is located at front of this property which can sleep another 6 guests. So, it’s possible to accommodate 23 guests across the 3 separate properties. The property is not far from Bellerive Quay which offers numerous choices of dining which include Chinese, Thai, Italian and Canadian, to name a few. Also nearly is Salamanca Fresh which is a large grocer offering fresh fruit and vegetables, a butcher, a baker and a good offering of ready-made meals.
Having 3 family’s in one space, this was exactly what we were after for our sibling holiday. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean and accessible and the kitchen was fully equipped. While we noticed there were no fly screens on any windows or doors, and the was a little bit of dust in some spaces, the overall condition and welcoming atmosphere of ‘The Residence’ was ideal. We even made friends with the folks who were staying downstairs in ‘The Retreat’. This was particularly important given the ‘shared’ space, especially if you don’t book out the whole accomodation - ‘retreat’ and ‘residence’ - during your stay. Lisa was extremely helpful, providing support from check in and throughout our stay. Lisa and Andrew were also wonderful to deal with pre and post stay, we would absolutely recommend this space to others.

The location means that you get to enjoy the best of both worlds, the tranquil and picturesque Eastern Shore area, and being close to the City. There’s a bus stop right outside or you are just a 10 minute drive to the CBD.
Hobart’s largest shopping Centre, Eastlands, is an easy 10 minute walk away. Around Eastlands you will also find the usual fast food outlets and also Village Cinema.
The property is not far from Bellerive Quay which offers numerous choices of dining which include Chinese, Thai, Italian and Canadian, to name a few. Also nearly is Salamanca Fresh which is a large grocer offering fresh fruit and vegetables, a butcher, a baker and a good offering of ready-made meals.
Blundstone Arena, Bellerive Village and Bellerive Beach are a mere 15-20 minute walk away and there’s a bus stop right outside the front door if you need it.
Hobart’s CBD is a 10-minute drive away as is Hobart Airport. And some of Tassie’s best vineyards are a short 15-minute drive away.
To enjoy Hobart and surrounds its best that you have a car, however if you need the use of public transport there's a bus stop out front and a regular service that travels to the CBD.
