Had a great short holiday as we cramped in a lot. House was warm and cosy, and games shed, kept kids entertained in the evening. Only problem was water pressure, hit and miss! Besides that great place to stay.

We had a couple of problems- the water pressure wasn’t strong enough, so we couldn’t take a shower at first, but someone came over to fix it the next day, no big problem, Mark reacted quickly. The house was nice and practical, but some parts are not in good condition, for example the electric oven, the dryer and, as mentioned, the water. The chimney/ stove was not usable - there was an improvised structure to stop smoke from entering the living room. Unfortunately it was made out of wood and cardboard. A crows nest in the chimney as well as the whole structure caught fire and we had to dial 112. The carbon monoxide detector didn’t set off. Mark didn’t seem to be very worried about all that. The location/ area is beautiful though - some very friendly & helpful Irish firefighters planned a great trip around nearby Lough Mask for us.

Mark est un hôte accueillant. Nous n'avons vu personne ni à l'arrivée ni au départ. Le logement était froid à notre arrivée. La maison est spacieuse et idéale pour une famille. Le poêle a servi tous les jours car les soirées étaient froides. On a pu jouer au tennis de table ou faire des ballades. Le logement était globalement propre.

Great place and you get the whole house to yourself! Nice spot to be based if you want to explore West Ireland over a series of days. The only drawback was the inconsistent water pressure in the showers. Could have been user error, but it's worth mentioning. Overall a really great value for what you get!
