Cardinal Cove is a hidden treasure! It is far enough off the beaten path to have privacy but it's not so far out that things feel inaccessible. During a long weekend with gorgeous weather, while every public beach from Maine to Florida is full of massive crowds, my family and I were able to spend a quiet, restful weekend together with all the comforts of home. The photos in the listing really don't do the place justice. It is so clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We had great views of the creek from the porch and incredible sunrise views from the dock. We had two seven year-old boys in our crew and two goldendoodles - and they all had a blast. Pete and Jen were both lovely to work with and they made every step of the process a breeze. We will definitely be back to Cardinal Cove.

This is not just a house , it feels like a home when you enter .The property was pretty secluded , clean and well stocked with necessities . Beds were comfortable , nothing fancy , everything just right . We fished , crabbed ..( got small fish only..?..) . We cooked , mostly staying on the property. We’re all enjoyed our stay . Thanks for letting us stay in your home .

We enjoyed our stay. The house is well equipped with the essentials to make your visit easy and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Really lovely sunrises on the house's dock. A great place for morning coffee. The location is very peaceful and the water fowl are interesting. Guard Shore Beach is beautiful place to watch the sunset. But bring bug spray. The mosquitoes were bad in the evenings. Ticks were a problem on the trails. A 10 minute easy drive into Onancock for restaurants and shops. Grocery stores are a bit farther. Stock up so you don't have to make the trip more than necessary. Wi-fi was pretty nonexistent, at least when we were there. I'd visit this place again!
