Deer Crossing was the perfect spot for our girls weekend! The area is lovely and serene, and the house was set up well with a nice seating area around the TV, comfy couch (this is too often overlooked!), great hot tub and screened porch. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Our stay at Janel’s was lovely! The cabin is cozy and all the amenities were in great condition, we even used the grill! There’s not a whole lot to do nearby (in terms of hiking) but if you’re looking for a quick getaway with not much of an itinerary, this is the place to be! Only feedback is that Janel could’ve been more responsive to the few questions that we had - I did not hear back about a few things I asked about.

We had a great stay at the cabin for a quick weekend getaway! Beautiful spot in the woods with a working fireplace, fire pit, outdoor seating, and lots of amenities. Perfect for 5-6 people. Janel was very responsive and flexible! Thanks for hosting us.

Janel has a great place here, if you’re looking for tranquility in nature, look no further. The hot tub on the deck, the fire pit, the wonderful view of the woods from the living room, this place did the trick for sure! Such a nice relaxing time, 10/10 would recommend

We visited for our 15th wedding anniversary. Janel’s place was perfect and provided the peace and quiet along with the beauty of nature that we were looking for. The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay again! *My only note is that if you aren’t used to windy mountain roads, take some Dramamine before the drive. The motion sickness getting there was no joke! 100% worth it though!*
