My room was given to someone else and I didn't find out until I arrived. Not only did the host not take any responsibility, he actually tried to blame me for it. Pretty much everything else around was booked so it ended up costing me a lot of money to find an alternative. Terrible place, do not recommend

The place was solid overall. It was clean, well-furnished, and well-equipped. However, there are some malfunctions. I couldn’t adjust the air conditioner temperature as it gets too cold. The shower heater switches off by itself just one minute into using it. Also, there’s plug-in outlets in the bathroom, but no shower stall, so plugging any electronic device in the bathroom can be very unsafe. The TV has also randomly turned on at some points in the night. On a side note the host and co-hosts are nice people

Great host, cleaned my room each week and changed bedding. Also rented me a scooter for cheaper than anywhere else. Very friendly folks. Clean room, no bugs.

Apart from the Wi-Fi issue (see below) can totally recommend this place. I originally stayed for 5 days but extended 3 more nights for 300 Baht per night, because it was so good! I am traveling now 3 months around Thailand and I stay mostly in decent hostels and this was the first time there were 0 mosquitos or other bugs in my room. The room itself is very clean and every 2-3 days the friendly staff asks you if you want it cleaned. You can rent there a scooter for 150 Baht per day which is a fair price. The owner is French but speaks fluent English and his Thai wife is also super friendly. Most importantly, there's an amazing restaurant around the corner called "Moo" where you get Pad Thai Shrimp for 60 Baht and of course there's other great food as well. Also, around the corner, there's a gym called FX Gym, which has air con, friendly staff and good equipment. And it's only 80 Baht per day! The only thing I was not so happy about that sometimes the internet is gone for several hours. You can still connect, but somehow the router doesn't work. I tried with my laptop and smartphone. That was especially bad when I needed to work on something. It happened around 4 times during my stay. So, I hope they can fix this 🙂 when it works, the internet speed itself is good and it's possible to watch youtube or have conference calls with video.
