We very much enjoyed staying at Ingira House, it was a great base while we visited our son who is volunteering in Arusha. We were looked after well by Linda, Daathi´s mum, who was super helpful. The house is in a brilliant location, in walking distance from several nice restaurants (Amber for Indian food, Zeze for pizza and later at night for dancing). It is cosy and well furnished, quiet, we slept really well with open windows, listening to the wind in the trees. We were sharing the kitchen with Linda, who was staying onsite in the garden house.

My family (2 young adult children and 2 adults) stayed in this lovely bungalow after an 8 day safari for 2 nights in Arusha before travelling back to the UK. It is a comfortable, beautiful home with lovely art, enticing books, as well as as a well-stocked kitchen with the best kitchen knives we've ever experienced in an airb&b! It is somewhere we wanted to hang out in as well as within walking distance of interesting places in Arusha like the central market, the museum and the maasai market. For those worried about personal security it is a very safe place to stay - as ex-Londoners we were bemused by the attention to safety (take a taxi after dark even if it is 5 minutes down the road) but took the advice seriously and it didn't stop us from enjoying being out both at night and in the day. We only had 2 nights and 1 full day there and would revisit for longer if at all possible. Daatih and Linda, her mum, were welcoming and the communication was great.

This was the perfect place to stay for myself and my family. We felt totally safe. The house and garden were so very peaceful and immaculate. Daatih and her mom were the kindest people ever and gave us lots of good advice on how to get around. We were able to have groceries delivered using an app. My kids loved playing with the dogs. There were very nice and non obtrusive security staff in site and a super housekeeper so we never felt isolated or like we had nobody to ask if we had a problem. I would recommend this place 10/10.

We stayed at the lovely bungalow and had an absolutely amazing time. It was spacious, restful, and the beds were so comfortable. The location is phenomenal and close to the city centre but the house is tucked away in a side street and felt so private and safe. The outdoor space was well kept and had lovely outdoor seating. Daatih and Linda were incredible hosts and quick to respond. They went above and beyond and arranged transportation from the airport for us! Could not recommend this home enough!!

Linda was super helpful via whatsapp for any questions/directions prior to arrival and once we got in, much appreciated! Location is great, just outside of the busy buzz of central Arusha but within walking distance to some great restaurants / outdoor bars. Great option if you're with a small group and want somewhere quiet vs the local hotels. Lovely garden as well!
