Great place, was very sanded in! But nonetheless great spot

If you're just looking for a place to sleep then this is for you, but you could get a better experience at a hotel. The kitchen was extremely outdated and only 1 stove burner worked. The tub also was in disrepair as the stopper didn't work and the one provided was insufficient. The lock on the back sliding door was also broken and a rod was placed below to serve as a lock. While the neighborhood did feel safe, this rental is just super outdated with kitchen utensils, bedding and towels. The one great was that the wifi was quick and the property was easy to access and in a beautiful location.

Our stay was absolutely lovely! Communications from day 1 were friendly and fast, and we were even given some excellent recommendations for restaurants when we asked! The Grateful Bread serves a delicious breakfast (and lunch) and you'll be full, but you'll definitely want to order some of theirs scones to go! There are many wonderful shops very nearby that are worth exploring, too. We found the home to be clean, comfortable, well stocked, and though it did look like the pictures in the listing, it felt much larger, yet still very cozy. We did arrive during the winter season so some of the views were of the natural dunes, which were listed in the description as a possibility during this time, but we still had beautiful, breathtaking views, and the weather each day of our trip ended up being even nicer than the forecast. The value for what we got was unheard of, especially for a home where you can literally walk right out onto the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Absolutely loved our stay. The home couldn't have been in a better location, during weather that made relaxing on the beach impassible, relaxing in the home just as enjoyable, as if we were at home. The house was stocked with everything we needed.

Perfect location. We've stayed in Pacific City several times; if you have young kids, it is worth it to pay a little extra to stay right on the beach. Beautiful views of the beach and sunset. Easy walking or biking to a variety of casual restaurants in town. Great walking paths through the neighborhood. Private and quiet, since it is in a gated community. The great room layout of the house is perfect and the main living space and beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was pretty sparse on amenities, basically no staple pantry items, very light on plates, bowls, serving dishes, etc. Only enough dishwasher soap for one load (the one you have to run on the day you leave) so you have to handwash dishes the rest of the time. Only one burner on the stove works, but in one of the cabinets is a plug-in travel two burner. We only needed the one burner, so we never had to use the plug in. Keep in mind, you are paying for the view/location, not a 5-star kitchen. We enjoyed our stay very much.
