We had a great stay in Aldeburgh and loved the very characterful Dart Cottage. I do feel that a checkin time of after 16:00 is a bit unfair, especially when the checkout time is 9.30am. We have an 8 month old baby and it made things quite difficult. I did ring Suffolk Srcrets prior to our stay, to see if there was any flexibility. I was told they had left a message with the house keeper/owner and that someone would get back to me. Nobody did. Other than that we had no problems. The property was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much. Ben
Excellent cottage, good location and lovely environment.
Beautiful cottage in a great location. A stones throw from the sea and along with some local shops and restaurants. Visited Aldeburgh a few times and parking is often a pain so having off street is huge. The place was clean, comfortable and most importantly, full of character.
