Great place to crash at an affordable price!
Kayla was very responsive when there was an issue with the AC. But the walls are very thin and the floors are creaky. Guests who came in very late at night on the phone were like they were in my room.
The room was neat and tidy, but a bit smaller than anticipated. the Inn is overall very cute and well appointed, but the staircase to the rooms upstairs is *extremely* tight and a bit difficult to navigate with either a large back pack (as one of my party had) or a carry-on size peice of luggage as I had. I would absolutely stay again, and overall it was a good experience, but wowza is that staircase narrow.

Kayla manages the Brook Road Inn for an active duty military family that is currently stationed in North Carolina. The inn was built almost 200 years ago. It was purchased in 2018 and has gone through several upgrades to keep the original charm and modernize its amenities while making it more environmentally sustainable. Two additional rental properties have been added to the inn's inventory. Kayla's family lives adjacent to the inn and is responsible for all the guests's needs. She is from the area and can address all your needs, so don't be afraid to ask her about the local area. We really hope you enjoy your stay!
