Lovely homely house. We really enjoyed staying.

The house was lovely as was the owner. Description accurate & was clean. It was not what I ve been used to when renting directly from the host. The agents Suffolk secrets were poor. We were 2 sets of towels short, the cot was broken and although the description said soap & toilet rolls there was very little soap in any of the dispensers. There was no shower gel very little toilet paper. The dishwasher was nt working properly as the filter needed cleaning & it needed salt & rinse aid . The plug was stuck in the bath too. There were no bin bags despite us being told bins needed to be emptied before departure and rubbish needed to be bagged Departure time was 9 which we thought very early. Have always avoided renting via big companies so will be very careful next time I use Airbnb to only stay in properties with private hosts.

This is a lovely, lovely place. It was great fit for three generations of my family over Christmas. The space feels really cosy, whilst still being spacious. We felt really welcomed after our various journeys through the dark, wintry rain. Meadow Lodge was well-equipped and very comfortable. The large dine-in kitchen was a real family hub during our stay, with breakfasts that blurred into elevenses, lunches that merged into afternoon teas, and suppers that went on long after we should have gone to bed! The rooms suited us well and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't want to leave.
