Wow is simply an understatement! The house and property were beautiful! We saw deer eating in the yard, a turtle, groundhog, a million frogs, and bats at night. It was in the woods and crazy close to all of the fun of downtown! We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway or a better hostess!

This was our second time staying here, and it was just as lovely and magical as the first time. location can't be beat, so close to town yet private and relaxing. Suzanne is a great host, house is very clean and well maintained.

The moment we walked into Rock Haus, we were blown away. The pictures are stunning but still don’t do it justice. Every detail has been lovingly crafted to cultivate charm, warmth, and enchantment. We felt like we’d stepped into a fairytale cottage. The beds were incredibly comfortable, with soft, high-quality linens and plenty of extra blankets and pillows should you need them. Every bedroom felt like a master bedroom - plenty of room, beautiful touches etc. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pots, pans etc (we did all our cooking at the house and didn’t want for anything.) We loved the downstairs bathroom with stunning rock/crystal wall! The cottage is ensconced in acres of woodland and a very short walk to the Black Bass Lake hiking trails, which we enjoyed very much. We could hear the creek from the back porch! I can’t think of a single thing we wanted for or lacked during our stay. Suzanne was a gracious and communicative host, check in was very easy, and we loved having the opportunity to meet and chat with her (though she’s happy to give guests space, too, if it’s preferred). We had a delightful time at Suzanne's place. It's just a couple of minutes to town, but secluded enough that you aren't dealing with loud neighbors or road noise. Beautiful property too, just a wonderful setting out in the woods. It's obvious that Suzanne has spent years cultivating and refining the home's decor, and you'll spend 15 or 20 minutes just walking around saying "Wow!" after you arrive. Plenty of nice little touches too - you'll have everything you need!
