The Lighthouse Retreat was an incredible place to stay for the weekend- wonderful location, gorgeous decorations, fully stocked, etc. Marti was great in letting us check in early and was very responsive. I highly recommend the Lighthouse Retreat!

We absolutely loved the Lighthouse Retreat! Marti and Gene were wonderful. The place was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was perfect! Only a mile to downtown Bar Harbor and a short distance to Acadia. We definitely would stay here again if we ever come back to visit.

Marti’s place was exactly as described and very conveniently located to Acadia NP and downtown Bar Harbor with its restaurants, grocery store, bike rentals and other shops. In late October, there was not much traffic so we felt safe walking to town but would not recommend that after dark due to no sidewalks on the road. The kitchen was well stocked and the access to a washer and dryer was appreciated. It’s a lovely, quiet spot.

This was a peaceful retreat and rest area following our trail hikes every day.
