we absolutely loved the historic cabin, and could definitely see ourselves booking again for an even longer stay. Loved all the character and peaceful setting.

If I could give more stars on location, I would! I haven't heard absolute silence like that in SO LONG. The bed was comfortable, our dogs loved the place as well! Had the basics of what you need. Glad for very hot water! Only complaint would be the shower, the ceiling is a slanted angle over it so you have to be under 5ft tall to have the water hitting your head. I bumped my head a lot haha. Love the trail down the road! Watch out for ticks though, I found several on my pups and myself. So check yourself after hiking it, and make sure your dogs have their tick preventative. But it was very beautiful to have a private hiking spot!! If you love rustic, silence, breaking away from technology, small towns, etc this is the place for you!

Very peaceful and private. Beautiful scenery and a very unique and charming cabin. Definitely be aware of the area before you book—there aren't exactly a great variety of dinner options if you're looking to eat out (but the kitchen works great). There was wifi, which was useful because the cell signal was non-existent. Altogether a great place for relaxing and disconnecting for a bit!
