The position of the Mill is absolutely quiet. Most of the time you hear only the nearby river. We came also for this silence, so we were not disappointed. For shopping you have to drive by car, so it' s recommanded to plan according to this. The kitchen is equipted with almost everything you need for cooking. 2 of the ( double)beds our spines found to be quite good and anti-pain. 👍 It' s possible to make barbecue ( which we didn' t because Emilia Romagna suffer from lack of water and dryness), relax in chairs or hammock in the garden. We were 3 friends and the house plus garden was big enough to still have privacy inbetween. Great!Near the house is a beautiful track, which we recommand for a morning- or evening walk. The area offers a lot for nature lovers and explorers. Just be aware that you have to drive a lot to move around. Families with children I can recommand the place. The area around the Mill and near the river is a nice natural playground (with the company of an adult). The bathroom/toilet is at the groundfloor and we found it to be more secure to go there by walking ( outside) around the house. As we are not lazy we were not disturbed by this. Probably children should not use the ( kind of) steep attic stairs inside the house. The wlan is working well. But only one of us had good mobile connection. Who loves silence and an originale, simple old house, will definitely enjoy the Mill of Riana! We want to come back!

Il vecchio mulino è un posto magico, vicino a natura e boschi. Molto accogliente!

Vous devez vraiment vous attendre à vous retrouver dans un lieu très reculé de la toscane, et non proche de tout comme peut le faire croire l'annonce, prévoir 3h30 aller et retour pour Parme, 4h30 pour Les Cinqueterre, 5h30 pour Bologne, etc... Le logement est très humide, avec des odeurs de moisissures. Nous avions réserver 2 semaines, mais avons abandonné après 1 semaine. Les installations promises ne fonctionnaient pas toutes, par exemple, nous n'avons jamais eu de ligne internet, pas de connexion WiFi. Malheureusement nous n'avons jamais vu Lorenzo.

Endroit absolument calme. Les lucioles dansent le soir. L'aigle vole sur la vallée. Voisinage très sympathique. Vacances nature-simplicité. Prévoir du temps pour les trajets de visite alentour. Super. Merci Lorenzo et Gino
