Amazing value at this farm house property. Horses, goats, field and forest: a down to earth retreat. The room is compact, with two single beds, but great for a short stay. We were only able to stay briefly, but Melissa was extremely accommodating in our later arrival time. Just off the main highway for those enroute to Chicago or beyond from the Sarnia or Port Huron areas. Added nice touches with some great breakfast items and coffee in the morning. Thank you so much for your hospitality Melissa!

Nice restful setting. I was in the area for another event and the location made it very convenient, but distracted from enjoying the rest of the experience. Fun honey tasting and some interesting information on the history of the house. For those who enjoy the experience of being around animals and seeing and experiencing a working farm, this is a good place to try that.

Melissa’s home is just what you’d expect from a beautiful old farm. The bed was comfortable and cozy. I loved the charm and warmth of such a historic house. Melissa’s love of horses and bees really shines through. I’d recommend staying here for sure.
