Absolutely amazing! Casa Valeria is all we needed on Lake Como…can walk to nearby towns, but always escape to the serenity of Perledo. Fabio is an A-1 host! Answers all your questions in a friendly manner! We’re already dreaming of our next visit!

Perfect place to stay in Varenna...what a spectacular stay! Fabio replied within 1 minute every time I had a question or needed a recommendation. The balcony overlooks the most gorgeous view of the mountain-side/town and the lake. Three days was not long enough. Although we enjoyed a day trip to Bellagio via Ferry, we decided Varenna and its waterfront have a more friendly and inviting ambience with their stores and dining options. Ferry note: buy your tickets online prior to your trip, especially during high season (buy Roundtrip and you can get on anytime to/from your destination on the date you reserved, runs about every 40 min. We had to wait in line for an hour to purchase as online was sold out, and it was early May '24). Plenty of hot water in spacious bathroom and well equipped kitchen w new & quality cookware. Great bed/slept well. We cooked the first evening... pasta/pancetta dinner & wine from grocery which is next to bar/restaurant w/in 4 min walk. Enjoy, Ciao!

Highly recommend this place. The apartment is spacious and clean, with a well equipped kitchen and a comfy bed. It was raining during our stay but thanks to the gorgeous views from the balcony, we even enjoyed staying in. The communication with Fabio was also great. We’ll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our stay. Fabio’s a very good communicator and it made it all very easy. We did walk a lot but we had also hired a car which we feel was necessary as we were up and down to Varenna a lot and across the lake. Car parking needed planning. The bus to Perledo (from the train station) was great but not regular and a lot of taxi’s would have proved expensive. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very clean and tidy. The view of the lake was compelling and we watched it a lot. Although relatively low season it was still busy later in the day so we did Bellagio early one day and also got to Villa del Balbienello (stunning) and Villa Monastero. Fantastic lunches at Grand Hotel Tremezzo and Villa d’Este (very special). Perledo: Pizza and beer at Bar Milano was very good. The local store was excellent for fruit and veg etc. Varenna restaurants: Osteria Quater Pass (very good); La Vista (good). A great little trip and Fabio’s is a great place to stay! Grazie mille!

Fabio is a fantastic host, nothing too much trouble. Apartment is fantastic and has everything you need. Spot on the hill is ideal.wonderful views.
