What a wonderful stay in a beautiful new home with an enormous yard space. Felt very private. Very well appointed for a group or families. The kitchen was in supreme condition, well labelled and had everything you needed to make some great meals. Juan Carlos even checked in near the end of our stay. The only regret was not being able to stay there longer :)

The Casa Luna was a haven for our familie's stay in Monteverde. It was just outside Santa Elena, so it was quite and private & excellent for sleep. Our goal was to have a comfortable place to rest and that's what we got. The initial smell of cleaning products was not pleasant, but was gone after a day. The couches were comfy to hang out on. There wasn't a dining table, but we used the bar stools and that worked just fine. There is a folded plastic table in the garage area, that you can use with 4 chairs if you wanted. The plus for us also was that we could do laundry half way through our trip and pack less. The laundry machine was a sort of manual experience. It would have been helpful to have clear instructions on how to use it. I contacted Juan Carlos to ask about using it & instructions (there was a load in the dryer, that I had to continue to dry twice before I took it out). Bring your own laundry detergent and coffee. Also note that there are no screens on the windows.
