Wellington was not just helping us as a host but was very happy that we were visiting his country. He was very helpful with everything. Whatever was required or needed, it was always minutes away. Geat host and a great place to live near downtown and closer to the beach

Wellington was a great host. He was always a message away and was very attentive. I was not prepared for the several flights of stairs but that isn’t his fault. Make sure you ask where the unit is exactly in the complex before you arrive. The other girl was nice but the smoking was a surprise. The floor of the room could’ve used a vacuum as well. Otherwise the location was perfect as it was walking distance to everything downtown and the beach. His suggestion of a local restaurant was great too!Wellington also went above and beyond with a ride to the marina at the end. Thank you!

I preface this by saying this review is coming from an American female perspective: I have full confidence Wellington will take this feedback and address all of the issues presented in this post. He is in process of renovating and making upgrades to the condo so this feedback will be helpful. Before your stay ask about most recent renovation and updates. The kitchen needs some work. He is attentive maintaining communication for months prior to my arrival. I had a last minute change in family members and I needed an extra bed. Wellington was incredibly accommodating and did not take advantage of my situation by increasing the price. Quite opposite, the additional price was lower than my original price. Wellington shows concern about the safety of his visitors and gave me instructions of where not to go while on the island. That was really appreciated. While I was there he had added a land line to the condo and in process of adding security cameras as well. A video doorbell. That said we did not have a problem at all. Keeping in mind this is a newer air b&b and an all female unit. Once people begin to realize there are only women in that unit one should have additional security measures in place. There is a security guard on duty but I don't believe he is there overnight. Wellington is addressing those issues. While I was there he adding a landline and in process of adding security cameras. I would recommend one camera and a doorbell ring camera. The overall condo was tidy. The bed linens were fresh. My biggest concern was bedbugs. There were none! Thank Goodness. We shared the unit with another young woman and she was a delight. Very friendly, respectful, helpful, and quiet. I shared a room with her and didn't hear her come in at night. The condo is at the very top on the 6th floor. You should be physically able to carry heavy bags up and down the staircase. The elevator does not work and I doubt it will be working in the near future. The hallway and staircases were clean. There is a pool but we didn't use it. It had leaves from the trees floating in it and I never saw anyone clean or skim it. I did not see the pool filter running either. The beach is a hop and skip away so who needs a pool? We were there for the ocean. The unit does have air conditioners in the bedrooms. We did not need to use them as it was December and the weather was mild. A really nice wind came through the apartment by way of the sliding glass door that faces the water. What a beautiful view!! I LOVED waking up to see the ships passing by EVERY MORNING. The condo is so close to the water and within a mile from the main cruise ship area. We found the people to be really nice. There is a Tiki bar with an under 4 minute walk. The music is very loud. At night you can hear the music in the bedrooms like a teenager playing their music in the next room. That said, it was a variety of music and I knew the songs so it didn't matter to us. It also quiets down at 11:00pm on the weekdays. Bring lots of money for taxis. Better yet, have a separate budget for taxis. The general rule is $13.00 plus $4.00 for each person. Though the rates change from driver to driver. Only use the cars labeled taxi on the doors and have a yellow taxi licence plate. Anyone else is just an imposter. I would recommend planning out your itinerary prior to leaving for the trip. Everything happens so fast you want it planned beforehand. It will save you time, and give you a better opportunity to budget and save money. We are hoping to go back again and make the Bahamas a family Christmas tradition.

There was some issues with the place we had originally booked to stay but Wellington was more than helpful with providing other places to stay. Wonderful host to deal with!

As a seasoned AirBNB traveller, I would not suggest this place to others. While the location was great, the bathroom, kitchen, and common areas were disgusting and looked like they had never been cleaned. The bedroom sheets also had several long black hairs on them. In addition, there was no toilet paper!!! The two other girls who inhabit the space are very loud and at 2.30 AM I had to message the host (who does not live there) to let him know they were being loud (shouting at each other, singing, loud music). After writing Wellington after my stay to let him know that I wanted a partial refund due to these things, he said okay, just to decline the refund. AirBNB ended up giving me the refund. Don’t stay here!
