We had the most peaceful holiday. The house is located amongst rolling hills looking out to trees and farmland. We saw plenty of wrens from the patio as well as kookaburras, kangaroos and watched the cows pasture on the hills. There is a magnificent walk from the property in the forest which takes you to a creek. The house was great for a family. Excellent books and games for kids. Location was great - near great waterfalls as well as treetops adventure in yoedene. Chris was very hospitable and made us feel welcome. Would definitely go back.
Loved our stay at Chris’s place. Very relaxing and comfortable home to stay in. King beds with electric blankets were great. Fire 🔥 also awesome. Lots of great extras if you have children. We really enjoyed our stay we ended up extending our time and stayed 7 nights in total. Only about 10 minutes to Colac with lots to see and do in the area. Would definitely recommend this lovely home 🏡
Had an awesome time there. We had a water pump issue on the penultimate day and Chris tried to fix it up but it didn't work. Apart from this issue, everything else was simply a great experience. I also understand that such issues can also happen but most important thing is the willingness to take charge and correct it. 100/100 to Chris on that as well. Highly recommended.
Absolutely fantastic place for a relaxing, comfortable family holiday in tranquil surrounds. Chris goes above and beyond to make the stay wonderful from the big things to the tiny details. The property has everything for keeping our 5yo entertained and happy - from books to games to trampoline to bush walks. Checking in and out were very smooth. Great directions, the place was spotless and setup beautifully for our arrival. We found the beds very comfortable and the electric blankets were a great touch for the luxury of a pre-warmed bed since it's pretty chilly there in mid-winter. We hope to stay again!
