We absolutely loved our stay while we were attending our daughters wedding. The house had everything we needed and we were able to make the wedding cake effortlessly in the beautiful and well appointed kitchen (yes I know! Who bakes the wedding cake the day before the wedding!). The house was incredibly spacious for the 8 of us and the photos really didn’t do it justice. We also appreciated the Christmas touches; tree, some decorations and the seasonal themed crockery-all so thoughtful and tasteful. There were so many interesting and exquisite architectural features that we barely had time to appreciate. Would love to visit again just to fully relax and enjoy the house. Thank you for having us.

The stay was absolutely perfect, it was a beautiful home which worked well for our families, in a really handy location (the supermarket was a 5 minute walk away, the buses were extremely regular and easy to use into Edinburgh, and a good local take away too) . The beds and pillows were really comfortable and the furnishings and decor- well I don’t know where to start- spectacular yet very homely. Cannot wait to find an excuse to return!

Stayed here for 4 nights over our wedding weekend. The property was clean and very comfortable for all the guests. The interior is lovely and made the weekend extra special.

This space was really beautiful, interesting and full of lovely detail. Iris was a perfect host, providing great information and detail and quick response. The house is bigger than we expected and left for plenty of space for our family gathering in Scotland. We are grateful for our experience there.
