Poetical was the PERFECT place to stay during my trip! The owners are AMAZINGLY sweet and took extra care and attention to everything to make sure my stay was good and that I was ok as a solo traveler. I have read other reviews saying the place feels "dated", and while that may be the feel for some, to me that's what gives it that homey and rustic feel <3 The private onsens are fantastic as well, so nice to enjoy at night under the starts and relax. I can't recommend this place more! If you have never stayed in the area, be aware there are not many dinner options, so it may be best to just make meal reservations here. The food here was AMAZING!!

ご主人と主にお話ししましたが、とても丁寧で親切な方でした。 お風呂は素晴らしい源泉で堪能できました。 お部屋は多少年季が入っていましたが、全体的に満足な体験でした。ありがとうございました。

The pension Poetical is located in a very beautiful landscape perfect for wandering around nature. We loved staying at the hot springs offered by the pension and experiencing the great Japanese breakfast and dinner which was possible to order in advance. Pure wellness! Thank you so much for your hospitality! We will definitely come back next time.

A very good place to stay a few days in order to discover Norikura mountains. Easy to find and with a convenient small restaurant (Maple cafe) near of it. Hosts are really kind, speak english good enough to make you comfortable. Place is super clean, hot spring is gorgeous and really relaxing, room is really comfortable. I really recommend if you want to stay a few days. Important information: bus from Matsumoto are going to Norikura but be sure to check the timetable before (alpico group bus).

オーナーさんがとても親切。貸切温泉はとてもよかったで良かったです。露天風呂もきれいでした。 バス停から近く、乗鞍高原や乗鞍岳に行くには良い立地です。夜には星がきれいに見えます！ 朝食、夕食は付いていないので別途つけるか事前確認した方が安心です。周りレストランは少ないです。
