I really liked how peaceful the place was. The lake was so clear, we could see fish even in the evening. Our host gave us food to feed them, which was nice. The place was clean and cozy, and close to good restaurants. I enjoyed the spring water and breakfast left by the host, David, who was very kind and attentive.

This is the very best AirBnB experience I've ever had. David was so kind and hospitable and proactive with his communications. We were traveling to Reading for a comedy show, and a winter storm was hitting. David worked with me to add an extra day to the beginning of our trip so we could arrive ahead of the storm. Everything was exactly as listed/pictured - pristine and beautiful and cozy warm! The bed was comfortable with soft sheets. The daily muffins, yogurt, and fresh spring water were such a nice touch. The surrounding towns were really nice - so many independently own shops and family restaurants. I would love to explore the region in better weather! Thank you, David for truly going above and beyond!!! You're the best!

Bought my in-laws a 2-night stay for Christmas this year. "We enjoyed this our second stay at The Butler's Quarters very much. The rooms are so pleasant and quiet. We were served fresh muffins and a bottle of delicious spring water was delivered to our door each morning. Access is very easy and we were given complete privacy. We also enjoyed feeding fish in the beautiful koi pond just outside!"

I am from PA and now that I know about David’s place, I’ll always check to see if it’s available when I’m visiting home. Stunning surroundings, the apartment is very homey and a great representation of rural PA style, perfect location for what I need, and David is the friendliest host I’ve ever had. 10/10

Just a beautiful place, very cozy, clean fresh spring water, yummy blue berry muffins, according to my wife, who ate both of them… both nights….😂🤦‍♀️
