Jill was a great host, very responsive and a great communicator. I was not under the impression we would be paying the full electric and gas bill for our stay. It was about $380 a month. I had no problem covering that charge, it is just good insight to have ahead of time for future stays. Overall for the price it was a great rental.

Jill had great communication. She was also very flexible with our ever changing travel dates. We enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately, we weren’t impressed with this AirBnb stay. To stay for more than a day or so, this property was not well equipped for a comfortable stay (we stayed about 8 days as a family of 4). The kitchen lacked many practical necessities – the cutting board was huge & ridiculous to wash in the small sink, there were no large bowls for salad or any kind of prep, limited kitchen towels (only 2 & both had hair on them), there were a lot of cheap plastic items & there was no dishwasher or garbage disposal (it wasn’t marked as having one but I hadn’t noticed at the time of booking). The place did not feel professionally cleaned although it was tidy & the décor was nice. The bath towels provided, while soft, would leave you covered in lint after you got out of the shower (think others had commented on this).   The beds were simply awful. They were very noisy when you’d move an inch…not just the creaking of the springs but the loud ruffling of the plastic mattress cover as well (I’m assuming to protect from bed bugs but the top wasn’t even zipped closed). My husband literally heard me turn in bed the next morning all the way down the hall in the living room. It was comical.   On a positive note, the property was located in a great location, close to the freeway, grocery store, etc. Nothing was walkable for us but jumping in the car to head to the coast every day was great. The front area was nice to use & the view of the sunsets over the ocean was simply stunning. Host was always responsive.
