If you are looking for a wonderful location to get away from it all, this is the place. While it was a little chilly when we stayed there, the water was great. Going for a nice swim right outside of the cabin was lovely. But the best part of the trip was sitting under stars, by the crackle of the fire pit, and the sound of the waves made this trip one we will never forget.
As one of the former guests suggested...nothing worth seeing here move on to the next one...That's only because anyone who visits Liz&Peter's piece of Georgian Bay paradise doesn't want the rest of the world to know. The description they provide is just as we found it except with extra special hospitality all around their little bay, including butter tarts, blueberry crisp and some wonderful evening meals shared with amazing people. As avid kayakers and outdoor enthusiasts, this was our first real experience in a "wooden tent" as we normally arrive on an island with tent in hand. It was the perfect place to paddle, have camera will paddle, have privacy when you want it and enjoy sharing life experiences with others. We look forward to returning when we will pre-order calm winds and 1/2m waves on GB along with Canasta comeback :-) We look forward to producing many of our wonderful photographs on our artonstone.com Warmest regards T&J
Paradise is the only word that comes to mind when I think about my stay at Liz and Peters North Cabin. The space had everything we needed to be comfortable and the main cabin had everything else! Bed was comfortable, space was clean. Water is deep and amazing for swimming. You have your own private part of the islsnd. Everyone around the island (from other parts and passing by on the water) were super friendly. Liz and Peter were amazing hosts. We were treated and felt as if we were family coming for a visit. I very much enjoyed my conversations and discussions with Liz and Peter. The trip was very relaxing. Much needed way of unwinding. Definitely planning on booking again. Thanks so much for the amazing memories. Hope to see you both next summer.
The north cabin is truly an amazing place. It is a perfect summer escape. It is tranquil, private and a great place to relax and recharge. The hosts are wonderful and their love of the island and nature is contagious. If you love swimming this place is for you. We will definitely be back again next year.

We fell in love with the beauty of the Georgian Bay Archipelago, on our first visit, and one of our great joys is sharing this little corner of paradise with others who appreciate being in nature. Peter and I are pretty easy going folks at this point in our lives, once we learned to 'go with the flow.' ;) We treasure the company of our loved ones and the simple things in life. We love being in the solitude of nature, listening to the wind and the trees, and the birds. Throughout our lives we have been very curious folk and are always exploring alternatives in music, health, technology and media, to name a few areas of interest. Peter is also a 'student' of craft beer and single malt whiskey. I teach at Ryerson University in the winter months. We enjoy kayaking, all kinds of music, photography, yoga, swimming, boating, big thunderstorms, gardening, picnics, sharing meals, stimulating conversations, poetry, and lazing in the hammock with a good book. When not on Georgian Bay, we like to look for treasures at garage sales and auctions. We have met many wonderful folks from France, Ireland, Czech Republic, Finland, Italy, Nepal, Iran, Germany, the US and Canada too, of course. We look forward to meeting you! Liz and Peter
