Beautiful property with friendly hosts!

We booked this place as our base camp for Yosemite over Labor Day weekend, since it's only about 1 to 1.5 hours away from the western entrance. It's a fairly remote location, with Mariposa itself being about 15 minutes away by car. Given the remoteness you'll get to see a starry night sky and not deal with any noisy cars! Teresa and Rick were wonderful hosts, taking the time every morning to prepare us a nice bfast/lunch box to take with us (apples, yogurt, cookies and trail mix). They gave us plenty of advice on where to eat and when to head to Yosemite. If it weren't for our Yosemite agenda, I could see myself chatting away with them for hours while petting their cats (did I mention they had cute cats?!?). In terms of amenities, they have a strong showerhead and extra toiletries in case you forgot a toothbrush or something. We had access to coffee, tea, etc., the bedroom has private locks you set, and there's an area outside to lounge around at. All in all, 6/5 stay!

Tudo foi maravilhoso! Teresa e Rick são tradução de hospitalidade e boas memórias. Tínhamos uma agenda apertada em nossa road trip e eles se esforçaram para nos passar os detalhes mais importantes de Mariposa e Yosemite para que pudéssemos aproveitar ao máximo. Recebemos um café da manhã ótimo que aproveitamos ao longo do dia no Vale, Teresa possui uma horta própria com berries gostosíssimas. Deixo a sugestão para os futuros hóspedes que aproveitem um dia para curtir os arredores da lindíssima propriedade - é um lugar calmo e ideal para meditar. Sentimo-nos no dever de visitá-los novamente quando retornarmos para a Califórnia, são pessoas maravilhosas e que tornaram nossa viagem ainda mais especial!

Teresa and Rick were the kindest persons during our stay. They even let us use items which weren’t even included in the description to cover our needs. The house is beautiful and very peaceful. We will definitely come back here.

I'll save you the hassle: stay here! Staying at Teresa and Rick's was an incredible experience. As hosts, Teresa and Rick go above and beyond -- they are the true epitome of being an exceptional host. They are immensely welcoming, friendly and all-round wonderful people. The pre-packed breakfast to take with us to Yosemite National Park was an absolute lifesaver and the sweetest indicator of how kind and genuine these hosts are. When we head back to Yosemite, we will most certainly be staying here again! Thank you Teresa and Rick!
