Beautiful setting amazing location on Lake of the Woods, close to great fishing and island beaches. Awesome spot for seeing eagles and touring the lake from.

Great location close to Smith camps. Out of the 2 weeks we probably only had 2 days where the waters were too rough to launch our boat. The marine rail worked well to dock the boat at night. The cabin was comfortable with ample space. The kitchen is older and could use a makeover. The kids had fun boating, tubing, fishing, swimming off the dock, catching crayfish, etc. They want to go back already. Mark very responsive to inquiries and was ready to call out a plumber for a minor issue that I was able to resolve.

Mark’s cottage is great. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s at a beautiful part of the lake and offers relative quiet and serenity. The cottage is very well stocked and the mattresses are comfortable. Mark was great to deal with. He waited for us when we were late checking in, gave us a tour and left us information on the do’s and donts (not a lot of donts). The best room is the screened-in dining/games room. Will definitely return.
