We had a very pleasant stay in Philip and Julie’s place! It was a beautiful and very clean room with a lovey bathroom! The environment was very nice and quiet! We felt immediately welcome! The breakfast was very tasty and there was more then enough! Thank you very much! Love, Tom and Stephanie

Wow, what a find! What a place and what facilities – 5 star! We had superb accommodation – ours was a truly beautiful bedroom; a most comfortable bed with spotless white sheets/pillow etc. En-suite facilities were equally excellent with no smallest detail overlooked. We opted to have an evening meal (local restaurants were closed) and it was delicious and served with the highest of presentation. Julie and Philip were excellent and engaging hosts and very much made us welcome. Based in a rural location (Philip’s excellent directions will easily get you there) it is both peaceful and secluded and a treasure of a find – we most certainly recommend it. We very much look forward to seeing Julie and Philip again…..

We stayed with Philip and Julie just for one night while driving through France. It offered just what we wished for. We enjoyed the easy communication with the hosts, both before and during our stay. The room was sparkling clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good and the fresh bread got us through the day.

Philip and Julie are perfect hosts and their stylish house is an oasis of calm set in a beautiful garden. I stayed in the orchard room which overlooked apple and plum trees. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the decor of wooden beams and muted colours was very restful. An ideal overnight stop and also a good base to explore Le Mans and the valley of the Loir.

We has a great overnight stay at Julie and Philip’s place. The room is in a separate part of the house from Julie and Philip’s, with it’s own sitting room/dining area, where we enjoyed a delicious three-course meal cooked by Julie in the evening. They joined us to eat and we enjoyed chatting into the evening. The whole place is sparkling clean, our bed felt comfortable and luxurious and the shower in the en-suite was strong. Breakfast was very nice, and as well as yogurt, croissants etc we had some fresh eggs from their hens. Julie recommended us a good walking loop around the nearby fields, which was very pleasant. We’d definitely recommend a stay with Philip and Julie, who were great and attentive hosts. Thank you both!
