Here are the positives: the couch is really comfy, comfier than the single beds. The master bed is comfortable as well. The easy access to the beach is great, the location is great too. Really close to lots of shops and the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. If you stay here you have to try Rita’s burgers. Could have been a great stay if it wasn’t for a few things. Firstly we had to drive to LJ hooker in Kingscliff to get the keys, and it ended up being a 40 minute round trip just to pick up the keys. Very frustrating after already driving for 18 hours over two days. There was also no communication to us about there being no linen, towels, hand towels, or even bath mats provided. Yes it is on the listing but personally I have never stayed anywhere that doesn’t provide linen, so I would never think to look for that. Especially when we are paying nearly $4000 for six nights. Even our $100 motel provided linen for us. We didn’t realise we had no linen until we were getting into bed late at night so we had to sleep on top of the beds with no blankets to avoid sleeping on a mattress protector. The only compensation provided was free linen hire, and they told us ‘we are working hard to provide linen for our guests’. Don’t really see how you have to ‘work hard to provide’ a basic essential for any guest that stays at your bnb. Very disappointing. The master shower has no door and the tiles slant away from the shower meaning that the entire master bathroom is a giant puddle after you shower, and our single tiny bath mat is nowhere near enough to clean up the water on the floor. This means that every time we used the toilet we would have cold wet feet. We also had no hot water for the last two nights of our stay. We called the emergency number with no response, and the hot water was never fixed so we had to leave for our 18 hour drive home without showering. Honestly just really disappointed in general about our stay. Not really worth over $500 a night.

Wonderful location right on the beautiful Hastings Point beach. Quiet, beautiful, surrounded by nature. Perfect spot for a relaxed family holiday.
