Setting is absolutly beautiful with truly stunning view from the front of the house, the area is very peaceful and the air is fresh & crisp. The house itself is as described and the bedroom is surprisingly big. Kitchen is basic but has everything needed. The roads up to the house are in very bad condition, it is possible in a car but a jeep/SUV is best. There is a little shop in the village which has basic food, and major shops like Lidl are only 15 minutes away in Samakov. Borovets is 25 minutes away. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

We enjoyed the garden and beautiful view from the veranda a lot and had nice walks with our dog directly from the house. The father of Boryana did the check-in and lives next to the house, he is very friendly and gave us privacy as well.

Located in a remote village. Roads can be a little challenging, especially after a storm. The villa is very old and rustic. The view from the front porch and the garden is five stars. While sitting on the porch, enjoying the view and a cup of coffee, you can expect to be visited by several friendly cats. The setting is very peaceful. We slept great! The only negative is the bathroom. Even though it was clean, it didn’t feel clean, if that makes sense. The sink was inside the shower and the toilet was separated from the shower by a curtain. The floor was always wet from the shower. If you have a princess for a wife, you may want to consider staying somewhere else. Wifi is satellite based, I am guessing, because it didn’t work on the days that it rained. In spite of these issues, we enjoyed our stay here. It was a unique experience.

Me, my wife and our 2 year old son spent three great days in Gorni Okol. Highly recommended.
