The apartment is located in an artistic, cultural and traditional village, Chalki village. The green spots around it, the gardens full of colorful trees and flowers, create a small oasis ideal for resting and enjoying both the warm sun and the Aegean breeze. Each apartment is autonomous and provided with an outside place. All of them are fully equipped, ready to offer you a comfortable, relaxed and unforgettable stay. Lets start with the name -Amorgos- We have named our apartments being inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of Greek islands of Cyclades! The apartment is airy and sunny. It has two rooms, a kitchen and a WC, fully equipped to offer a comfortable stay. The front room has a double size bed, a large wardrobe with mirror, and a table. The next room has a single size bed, a wardrobe, a desk and TV. The sunny kitchen is lovely, fully equipped and the bathroom is spacious. Also, the apartment is provided with an autonomous balcony, but also you can have access to our gardens where you can spend your time or take relaxing moments. Enjoy your stay at 'Amorgos'!

We would highly recommend the flat, which was really well located, proper, accurate and pleasant! Thodoris is a great host: efficient, good communicator, welcoming and helpful ! We had a nice stay there, clearly a perfect place to discover the surroundings of this beautiful region!
My partner and I enjoyed the stay. It is very central to chalki, everything is a few minutes away. The lack of air conditioning was ok during our stay as it was not too hot (in the 20s). We had to keep the window closed at night as you can hear car from the street otherwise. The check-in was smooth with the host there to explain everything and giving us recommendations on how to get there with the bus. The accommodations are basic home vibes, small kitchen for some reheating food, the shower is not separate from the toilet so the floor gets wet but we did not find it a huge deal, it met all our needs for primarily sleeping at night. It’s a good starting point for mount zas hike as filoti is a quick bus ride away and chalki is a cuter town/with amazing food and shopping. We stayed for two nights. Transportation in and our chalki outside of bus is limited/no taxis so plan according to bus times and pack light.
Appartement spacieux, agréablement décoré, bien équipé et confortable. Pour nous qui cherchons le calme, il est un peu trop proche de l'artère principale de Chalkio, mais ce n'est pas trop gênant.
We stayed for one night after spending the day hiking on Mt Zas, and given our tired legs, we were pleasantly surprised with how close to the centre of the village the apartment was. The check in process was easy, with parking just across the street. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, with a short stroll to the restaurants, tavernas and shops in Chalki itself. Overall, a really nice place for our short stay
We loved our stay in Chalki! Thodoris accepted our request at late notice and the room was beautifully clean and well stocked. The shower had great pressure and the beds were really comfortable. We so enjoyed meeting Thodoris’s parents who very kindly showered us with cake! Thanks again and best wishes - hope to visit again soon. Zara

Chalki Village
Chalki is an artistic, cultural and traditional village in the heart of Naxos island. It is surrounded by olive trees, platanus and plenty of green. Since Chalki used to be the first capital of the island, it maintains its nobility and prestigious aura. The typical narrow, picturesque streets, the balconies and the gardens full of colourful flowers, the small local stores offering traditional tasteful products and artifacts and the atmospheric artistic cafe - bars are the backdrop of a landscape which seems to be taken from postcards.

The choices to taste traditional products and dishes, to enjoy your coffee or drink are plenty and ideal to experience the hospitality of the local people and have insights of their way of living.
Site & Seeing
A visit at the citrus distillery is a must and a highly recommended experience. Citrus is the traditional liquor produced on Naxos and you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the process of distillation and of course taste the different types of citrus offered free of charge.
Also, worth visiting the medieval castles and the handful byzantine churches for their outstanding architecture, historical and cultural background located in & nearby the village.
The location of the village itself, in the heart of the island, not only is it ideal to go hiking around through formed paths which lead to 5 different destinations, but also an all - encompassing starting point for all the directions to be explored: sea, mountain, villages and other hidden gems. Local public transportation can be convenient for your transitions since buses run often, on a daily basis and to multiple destinations.

In Chalki you can find farmacy, bakery, supermarket, ATM and public parking by our accommodation.
Chalki is 20 minutes away from the port of Naxos. You can reach the accommodation out by the local transportation provided (Naxos KTEL) . The starting point buses run by the port of Naxos, where also is located the office you can be provided with tickets and the full bus itineraries. In Chalki, the bus stop is only 150m apart from our accommodation. All the villages are well connected by bus to and from downtown.
