Bucolic rural setting with beautiful mountain vistas in the distance. House is large, with a large deck, and an excellent kitchen. The hot tub was especially welcome!
This remote ranch home is the perfect place to relax and unplug from everyday chaos. There was plenty of room for our three generation family to hang out without ever feeling crowded. The kitchen is huge and very well stocked with everything you need to prepare and serve full meals. Nate is an all-around amazing host; friendly, communicative, and helpful before, during, and after our trip. We really appreciated the comprehensive list shared in advance, with everything we needed to know to make sure there were no surprises and to make the most out of our stay. Coconut, the barn cat, was a huge hit with the entire family.
We had an amazing time at the ranch!! Beautiful views and fabulous kitchen. We really enjoyed waking up and seeing the deer in morning and stars at night. The house was fully stocked and the piano was a hit with our kids! They also loved the adorable cat. Nathan was very communicative and welcoming. Highly recommend!
The views were breathtaking. Nate was very communicative and friendly. The home had plenty of space and beds for all of us plus some. Coconut the cat was very friendly and a hit with the kids. The home was clean and organized. A few hiccups but overall it was a great trip. Thank you!
Nate and Julie are the warmest of hosts! The location is spectacular, the home is fully stocked and so comfortable in its layout and thoughtful decor. BEST STAY EVER!

This isn't a neighborhood, but the animals will keep you enchanted. There is minimal noise other than the sound of nature.
Fuel up before you head out! There are fuel stops nearby, but they close early in the evening so come full of fuel. There is no public transportation all the way out here!

Our family left the life in the city to follow our passion and raise grass fed beef and our kids in a small rural community in Eastern Oregon. We love fishing, hiking, working in the garden, being with the cattle and chickens, and family events. We are also passionate about helping others. After six years of living the rural life our kids grew to the age where they needed more opportunities. So we uprooted our family and moved to Kalispell MT.
