Beautiful villa with many rooms , a spacious kitchen, terrace and a large pool on the beach with great hosts that help you with tours and restaurants. Big thank you to Steve and Karen.

Ron's place was beyond our expectations! We stayed there with four adults and four children. Ron was helpful in getting us organized to come and while we were there Karen and Steve were fabulous hosts. The breakfast was excellent and the team that kept the house clean did such a wonderful job. The pool was cleaned daily and was a wonderful place to cool off! Critters were everywhere, but very few unwelcomed creatures in our home. The occasional bat got in at night if we didn't close the doors and windows early enough but that just added to the excitement. Karen and Steve were very helpful in ordering taxis or getting activites ordered for us. We enjoyed the use of the yoga studio and the weights provided almost daily. No better view while you get a work out in! The place is a hike from town. This worked just fine for us as we were working while there (internet worked reasonably well with three of us using it) and only went to town a handful of times. Quite a bumpy road to get there though! Waves were too big for the kids to play in but we adults had some fun boogie boarding! The sand on the beach was lovely and we could sit there all day watching the huge waves roll in. There were some nice restaurants within walking distance or a short taxi ride. Our favourite in the end. La Carolina had a wonderful view and campfire at night, right on the beach with some live music on the occasional evening. Arboloco was maybe our favourite for delicious food and a cool atmosphere. Hummingbird, walking distance, was in an incredible garden! Food was delicious and beautifully presented and the garden surrounding you could take your breath away! The View served a huge BBQ meal for a great price on weekends. Really can't say enough about this place. Well cared for, well put together, and the PERFECT place for our stay.

This place is great! We rented the beach house for 2 families with kids and everyone enjoyed their stay. The gardens on the property are beautiful and well maintained. The pool is amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and kind. They suggested activities, helped us book transport to town, and even brought us delicious limes and bananas grown on the property. The best part was the location, right on beautiful Playa Bluff. The sand is golden and there were very few people. The waves were too big to swim but this is the perfect beach to take long walks at sunset. I highly recommend Playa Bluff Retreat! If you book, make sure to ask about Nicole, a local chef who prepared delicious meals for our group during our stay.
