If you're looking for a great deal that is comfortable, with an interesting and simple set up, this is it. Walk straight through the main entry and continue through the dining room. Open the stairwell door and head up the stairs to your private upstairs space. I live on the main floor. Upper deck: Two private bedrooms, 1 private bathroom, kitchenette, and your own door to the upper deck for even more privacy. The rooms are filled with great natural lighting. Historic home, built in the early 1900s. Room #1: The Bateau 2 cozy queen beds, couch, TV for your subscriptions, darkening curtains, and a closet. The Bateau room is inspired by the local history of the once thriving tobacco industry that utilized flat bottomed boats to transport the tobacco from Lynchburg to Richmond down the James River, just north of the house. Look for unique elements in your room made from the very same sticks once used to dry the tobacco leaves. They've been repurposed into head boards, benches, and curtain rods. Room #2: A nice tree house type, valley/city, view. When fog rolls in it's epic! 2 cozy queen beds, 1 closet, and a floor chair. Darkening curtains and a TV for your subscriptions. Each room also comes with strong WiFi, and plenty of outlets for charging your electronic devices. Kitchenette fondly referred to as your Lido Deck: To-Go coffee cups. Drip coffee pot. Bring your own coffee. There are microwaveable paper plates and bowls along with cutlery (YAY no dishes!). We also provide a small refrigerator for storing food, mini freezer, and a convection microwave.
