Cannot recommend this place enough everything was perfect, the cleanliness of the apartment was outstanding along with the pool and terrace had amazing views. The location is brilliant and central to everything!

Nice and clean appartment. Good location. Cold pool and strict pool rules (nothing else than water by the pool and in the backyard). Very hard beds, but over all a nice stay and easy access to the City. Very good restaurant in the same building.

On the positive side its a lovely apartment (we stayed in 1B) and very clean. Its recently renovated so there a few small snagging issues to be sorted but nothing really causes an issue. The balcony was lovely and we were lucky to have very few others staying in the block at the same time so it was very quiet overlooking the garden. The pool is great, very clean (could do with a few chairs or loungers perhaps as otherwise you are just on your towel on the grass or paving). On the less positive side is the road/neighborhood (I know there is nothing the host can do about this of course). The geographical location is pretty good, 10 mins walk to downtown, Rossio station and Alfama for example, however the road the block is on is more or less derelict and you can only drive up half of it at the moment. I understand that cities will always have roadworks but it would have been nice to know the very poor condition on the road, the associated noise and the road closure (which is outside the main bedroom window) before we booked. The host even had to move their office to a different road as it's a mess. More broadly the neighborhood isn't good - Mouraria isn't known for being nice but you'll see that the type of people and the nearby roads aren't great. We just didn't do enough research before booking (our fault) but with hindsight we wouldn't have booked a place in this neighborhood. Also worth noting that the bin collection which occurs on the road outside the main bedroom window happens at around 2.30am each day which is impressive as we only get one collection a week in the UK but best to bring your ear plugs :) Overall it's a 3.5/4 star apartment with great outdoor space and a very helpful host but let down by the road and the neighborhood which may be useful for others to know.
