Dream Rock Silo is a must! It starts with Karen, she is very repsonive and helpful. She greeted us from her porch waving as we pulled in. She showed us around the property and we were the only guests there this weekend so we got tosee the other 2 rooms. Everything is beautifully decorated and well thought out. We left the property for dinner and checked a local spot, Red Dog, recommended by Karen. We returned to the silo and decided to try out the scavenger hunt Karen and her hubby leaves for guests. I won't spoli the hunt or the "treat" you will find, it was so fun! We stayed in the Silo and it was great. The bathroom big enough for 2 people to be in at once, there are wine glasses available for use, a tv with dvds, a mini fridge, the bed was sooo comfortable. They provide extra blankets and pillows, small fan, heater. We decided to grab breakfast out but the outdoor kitchen is awesome and she provides fresh eggs and butter.

We had a great time at Dream Rock, our 5th stay in 24 months! My husband said there wasn't anywhere else that he would rather be for his birthday. (Me too.) Karen and Bill are wonderful and always make us feel like family. Everything is so unique and beautiful inside and outside due to their creativity and hard work. We rarely leave and spend all day on the porch rocking (rockers made by Bill), reading, and playing ball with the dogs. Their very friendly shepherds, Max and Joe, always spend the whole day with us, and their sweet older dog, Folger, spends a lot of time with us too. The bungalow is perfect. It is super clean, comfortable, nicely decorated (by Karen), and has a full kitchen. Outside the flower beds and potted plants and the creek and the landscaping and the surrounding pastures and mountains are beautiful and peaceful. So why go anywhere! But if you do go out (and we have), there are cute small towns and outdoor activities nearby. We can't wait to go again.
