*Robin's Place now has WIFI! *This home has 1 bathroom with NO SHOWER. However, there is a deep claw-footed bathtub. *There are no laundry facilities on this property. Therefore, WE ASK GUESTS TO SUPPLY THEIR OWN BED LINENS AND TOWELS. We will provide pillows and comforters with clean fresh duvet covers. There is a small, clean, well-managed laundromat 5 miles away in Hesperia. NOTE: There is no barrier around woodstove. When in use, It is HOT. It is not safe for small children. This small rental is a modest homey cottage with a modern kitchen, one bedroom and a deck. It has a combination of wood and propane heat. Our rustic cottage is humble and you will find that it needs some finishing and repairs. Privacy and the out-of-doors are its greatest assets. Our cottage sits on 10 wooded acres and includes several hundred feet of shoreline on a small, no-wake lake. Mature beech, oak, and maple trees screen it from the road and nearby homes. Windows on all sides of the house provide pleasing views and good cross-breezes when opened in the summer. French doors open onto a 12' x 12' deck, perfect for early-morning coffee and evening charcoal grilling. In summer, swim, fish, and sunbathe "down at the dock" or use the canoe, row boat and kayaks provided for you.

We had such a good time at what our kids referred to as “the cabin” this weekend. It was extremely cozy, peaceful and felt like our own little world. We had so much fishing, playing on the rope swing, and just enjoying each others company. We loved that the cottage was extremely kid friendly. There were life jackets we were able to use, board games to play and plenty of outdoor entertainment as well. We hope to visit again next year!
This marks my fourth year at this cottage. Absolutely nothing to complain about, a good experience time and again.

Fabulous time, as always!! This is our 5th (?) time visiting Susette's little getaway cabin and this time, we decided to stay an entire week. It was so wonderful spending our days swimming, kayaking, and sitting on the dock, watching the beautiful sunset over the lake! The house is warm and cozy and always a joy to snuggle into and read a book or do a puzzle after a long day on the water. This will forever be a special place for my wife and I and we hope to return every year! thanks Susette and crew!!

The neighborhood is a mix of seasonal and year-round homes. During fall, winter and spring the neighborhood is quiet with the usual comings and goings of full-time residents. In summer, activity picks up. Motor boats can be heard on the big lake behind us along with folks walking dogs and riding bikes out on the road. Robin's Place sits well off the road. Woods screen it from these activities.
There is no public transportation out this way. Your personal vehicle is the best way to get around. During winter months, All Wheel Drive or Four Wheel Drive are most suited for the country roads and long driveway into Robin's Place.
