Mme. Milou is a very helpful & friendly person. When I have any questions or troubles, she guided me promptly by Airbnb chat. Facilities of the appartment are perfect, I have never seen this kind of well-equipped accommodation in my life. The area is very calm and there is also a small forest where children are playing. You can find supermarket near this apparment (2-3 mins by walk) as well. The access to public transportation is also nice. There are several bus stops and you can easily reach to Haarlem station and/or Airport. In conclusion, I had a great vacation here.

We had two wonderful weeks in Milou's apartment. The contact was easy and very friendly, and when we arrived everything was clean and just as in the description. Perhaps for elderly people the steep stairs should be mentioned. Haarlem is worth a visit and in this apartment you have a quiet retreat.

The apartment is really lovely and is close to the centre, to a supermarket, to cafès, restaurants and shops. I spend one week in Haarlem with my mother. We got our bikes with us and it was no problem to put them outside in front of the door. The stairs inside can be struggling the first times, because they are quite steep... just to consider if you have some walk problems. Everything else was good explained and written in a big file, helping numbers, streets where you can park for free, restaurants and tipps what to do in Haarlem ... In total: Thanks for staying in your apartment, we had a nice time there!

This is a nice place in a beautiful neighborhood. The place has pretty much everything adults need for a quiet getaway (the only thing I can think of that was missing would be a bathtub). This being said the characteristically steep Dutch stairs are probably not suitable for children or the elderly/infirm. This is actually someone's home- and it is very clear someone lives there - so if folks are looking for a hotel room-type spotless, hyper-organized environment, this might not be the place for them. But if you are looking for something more homely and personal, it will work just fine. What all this means is that there are quite a number of off-limits areas like rooms, cupboards, and draws, but the kitchen is very well stocked if you like cooking, the living area is very cozy, and the bedrooms functional. Milou comes across as an A-type host, so is very organized and accommodating when it comes to check-in and check-out times.
