The cottage is absolutely delightful. A cozy home from home with everything we needed, and a lovely base from which to explore Cornwall. We arrived to find homemade scones, jam and cream, homemade bread and a bottle of wine which was such a welcoming touch! We also purchased some eggs, sausages and pork burgers directly from the farm which I would highly recommend, absolutely delicious. The cottage benefits from being on a little country road, and is secluded and private, and very quiet, with the exception of the odd moo from a cow, which we loved hearing! Amenities were fantastic, and we really felt at home. We will most definitely visit again in the near future, thankyou Jonathan and family for such a wonderful stay.

Stunning location, really friendly, welcoming and easy hosts. Made us feel very at home. Very chatty and friendly family who we will definitely come and stay with again. The farm produce was delicious. The area is packed full of things to do, we could have filled another week easily. Easy farm to take your dog to as could use any empty fields for walkies.

Just back from a wonderful stay at the Cider Press. The accommodation was clean, cosy and inviting. The rooms were all very clean and well kept. The kitchen had everything we needed and Jonathan left some lovely home made scones, bread, jam, cream and milk which was a lovely touch. He popped over to make sure we settled in well but was not imposing and we had a nice chat on the door step. The cottage location was great for us wanting to visit Looe, 30 min drive, and Bude, 55 min drive. We had lovely days out at both and it was great to come back to a toasty warm and cosy cottage after a day at the beach in chilly February! For anyone with mobility issues the downstairs bedroom and wet room were brilliant. There was also a chair in the front room for those having trouble getting up. Wifi was brilliant and kept the kids from moaning 🤣 Lots of board games and puzzles too. All in all, I would definitely recommend this as a lovely place to visit and we will be hoping to return soon

First of all lovely clean and comfortable cottage that presents excellent value for money. The welcome pack was an unexpected treat. Things to be aware of - 1 The pictures on the listing are not all of Cider Press. Can only assume they are of Hayloft next door. There is only 1 bathroom upstairs and not 2 as shown on the floor plans. 2 Mobile reception was very poor on EE unless you went onto the driveway. 3 The free wifi was very slow, almost unusable and kept dropping off. Attempted to contact Jonathan twice over long weekend without success. The good far outweighs the issues above. A lovely little cottage.
