Happy House made our stay in Ubud really Happy :) the house has a wonderful energy: it is really spacious, luminous, clean (and not mouldy like many other houses we visited in the neighbourhood !)there is an exquisite traditional bonsai garden that add a real special touch to the atmosphere and you can see it is truly cared for. The location is great -walking distance to Cafe Vespa , Healthy ubud, the Green lotus & Alchemy vegan restaurants and The Fruit Shop for green juices in the morning and coconut water by the bottle - what a treat ! we have hardly ever cooked at home :) The house felt very safe , and we enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood by foot . The supermarket is also at the end of a lovely walk through the quaint and artistic Penestanan area, or just 5 minutes with a bike ride. The bedrooms are on the second floor with a constant breeze coming from the balcony...even in the hottest hours of the day !- we hardly ever used the fans ,never missed the aircon, and even enjoyed sleeping under the blankets :)there is a water feature in the garden that have lulled us to sleep every night , along with the fairy lights in the garden adding a touch of magic to the tropical nights. The family lives nearby and is very friendly and helpful , and visited everyday with flower offering for the beautiful Ganesh and the small house temple in the garden. there is no pool but we enjoyed the delightful open-air shower filled with green plant /jungle style .There is even a small garden shala for your yoga !This home is truly a gem . Definately a rare find , awesome value for your money . A great base to have in Ubud from which to travel for short trips around the island. Highly recommended !

It is a spacious, comfortable and clean house with big windows. All the details in it are very thought out and made with great love. The owners live in a neighboring house and it is very comfortable - all the issues that arose in us were resolved almost instantly. The owners of the house are a wonderful family. When you live in a house, you feel surrounded by their warmth and care. Every 3 days, the house was cleaned and updated with towels, linen, toilet paper - it is very pleasant that you did not need to think about it. New water in bottles was also brought at our first request. On the first floor there is a large area with a kitchen and living zone, where it is very pleasant to spend time, receive guests and work. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms. The only nuance of the bedrooms is that there is not a solid wall between them, which means that there is no complete privacy for guests. For us this didn't create inconvenience, but if you rent a house with friends, then this is worth considering. By the way, you can work on the second floor in one of the bedrooms - there is a work desk and a chair. And for our little son we were given a crib and a wooden super chair for feeding. I also bathed my son in a large bath every day. On the territory of the house there is a very nice garden. We liked just opening the doors and looking at the trees in the garden. Real relaxation) The house is in a very quiet place. But at the same time, in a convenient area - there are several cafes (including the famous Vespa) and fruit stalls nearby, which can be reached on foot. The center of Ubud is within easy reach. We are really very pleased with the choice of home and got great pleasure from every day spent in this place. Thank you, Happy family!
