I stayed for a month. The cottage was the perfect size, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. It was the perfect distance to allow for easy day trips to Pistoia, Lucca, Pisa, Florence and MonteCarlo. The train station is 5 minutes away allowing for an easy trip to Cinque Terre. The hosts were friendly and more than willing to drive me to and from the train station. Highly recommend getting a car to explore the area. I think Cottage Nanni was a magical place and perfect for a respite in Tuscany.

We were fortunate to stay here for 8 nights. It was truly everything I had imagined and hoped for. Not only is it beautiful, peaceful and romantic, it was also decorated perfectly for an Italian villa. The owners clearly take pride in their home and it showed in many ways. We do feel a car rental is a must, but the train station is close by. You could drive to most places in less than an hour. San Gimignano an hour and a half. Be sure to take the scenic route at times, so you are able to take in the beauty among the hills of Tuscany. We were able to visit many places, but we tried to get back every day in time to watch the sun go down. The view was magical! We spent 3 lovely days at the Villa. The space is beautiful inside and out. We loved relaxing next to the pool and ate all of our meals on the terrace. The view was wonderful and the property was peaceful.

Beautiful and spacious cottage with a large, private outdoor area and garden. Renate was a very service-minded house manager who did anything to make our stay as memorable as possible. A very central location to explore surrounding villages and cities in the region. Check out Meme Cocktails (a 5 min stroll away) for great drinks in a beautiful location, or for home delivery in the house.

We hebben ontzettend genoten en de cottage voldeed prima aan onze verwachtingen. Alleen het “zwembad” geeft een vertekend beeld. Dit is een kleine Intex en is bovengronds. Voor ons was het voldoende om even af te koelen. Met een verlaagde auto is het wel Lastig binnenrijden door de automatische poort. Lukt ….maar krap aan. Het huis en de omgeving zijn top!
