Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt im Valampuri Kite Resort. Der Manager und sein Personal waren stets für uns absprechbar und haben mit Empfehlungen für die Gegend oder Fahrer, etc. ausgeholfen. Das Essen war sehr gut. Einziger Minuspunkt war, dass der Pool nicht sehr sauber war.

Après 17 jours passée là bas, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le resort. Tout d’abord le rapport qualité est plus que correct. C’est selon nous, un des meilleures de la région concernant le prix. L’endroit a un potentiel incroyable, peut être pas assez exploitée car il y a peu de monde. La nourriture est excellente et peu chère. Certain plats de la carte ne sont pas toujours disponible. Quelques petits soucis de communication car les employés ne parle pas trop l’anglais mais dans l’ensemble tout s’est bien déroulé, ils sont très gentil. Il y a possibilité de prendre le bateau pour aller au spot de kite. Nous avons loué un scooter pour environ 6 euros par jours. (Le spot est à 20 minutes en scoot)

Everything’s was great. The Ressort is nice. The city is not that nice . But you can buy everything you need in the Ressort :) if you want to do Kiteing that place is great !

Our stay at Valampuri Resort started off a little differently than we imagined, however due to the fact that there was not a lot of tourism in whole of Sri Lanka during that time. When we arrived at the location (we took an Uber from the airport) we were greeted by Palmtrees and little wooden huts which looked really serene. When we called the hosts someone quickly came and checked us in. We had a little hut with a en-suite walled off outside bathroom (a little dirty due to it being outside). The linens had little stains but overall it was clean. There was also a fan which is greatly needed at night due to the high temperatures. The staff was super nice and the host spoke very good english! They provide every meal (very delicious) for a reasonable price. The kite instructors there are also very friendly and patient. Overall it was a very nice stay which was a little dimmed because we were the only ones there except another couple. Thank you again for hosting us :)
