The description of this listing changed from booking until arrival (number of bedrooms in main house, number of guest houses, and the facilities) Eg the listing said 3 guest houses, each with own pool 3 weeks before our vacation. When we arrived, there were only 2 guest houses and none of them had an own pool. We would have expected the host to inform us about such a significant change. The house itself was beautiful. Furniture and fitments were simple, tasteful and in good condition. The kitchen and appliances are getting well used and look a bit worn but considering that this villa comes with own fulltime staff and the delicious meals they prepare, we could consider ourselves lucky. The pool & garden were amazing, clean, well maintained. Water always had the perfect temperature and the pictures don’t give justice to this lush paradise. All staff were remarkably friendly and helpful. Ketut prepares the most incredible food (try babi guling) and helps with tour bookings. Thank you!

We spent most of our time outside and in the pool. The garden is so beautiful and with the sounds of the beach it was so peaceful. The staff were so friendly. We all enjoyed our stay.

Having traveled outside of the country before & having stayed in Airbnb’s many times we were thrilled with this experience! The grounds were paradisiac. The pool and outside spaces, where we spent the majority of our time, were so lovely. The meals we requested were wonderful. The girls even accommodated our gluten free family members & allowed us to wash the sheets again to remove fragrance as some of our group are sensitive to perfumes. They were so polite and worked to accommodate our needs & arrange our day trips. My advice would be that if you haven’t traveled out of your home country or are seeking a resort, this isn’t your place. Though it is amazing, it’s a bit more hands-on to stay in any Airbnb (meal planning & no daily cleaning like a hotel). The staff will be willing to do any and all they can for you, however. The grounds were kept up very nice! Thank you for taking such good care of us! Oh, one more note about location, be aware this is about 3 hours from Denpasar & day trips to popular tourist places are also 2-3 hours away. This wasn’t a problem for most in our group as we found many exciting adventures nearby and in Lovina! We loved having had rented a scooter as well (make sure to purchase an international drivers license). Enjoy, future guests!!!

Hi there! We booked the villa for Christmas and NY Eve celebration from December 25 to January 6. First of all I would like to say that we were satisfied with our staying at the villa. We enjoyed our vacation and the North Bali itself. To begin with pick up at the airport – we ordered the transfer from the owner of the villa. The car was good and a big enough for our group of 6. The driver was very polite and friendly. The owner advised us to stop at the restaurant Dedari on our way from the airport and it was the really great idea. The restaurant is very good and the transfer took us around 4-5 hours because of Christmas traffic so we could take a rest there. By the way – our way back took us just about 2.5 hours at nighttime and we booked the transfer ourselves with the better price. The staff met us at the villa with great pleasure. They brought us umbrellas (it was rainy) and helped with a luggage. We had a short information about the villa. I’ve read that at another feedbacks and unfortunately should confirm that there is no air conditioning in common areas of the house, only in bedrooms. However, for us it was not a real problem because we spent all the time outside – sitting near the pool and having our meal outside as well. There is only one TV in the living room so you would not have it in the bedrooms and guesthouses. The pool is perfect and always clean (thanks to gardener). Ladies have perfect cooking skills thus the meal was great. There was a complementary dinner for the first day – the Balinese rice and the noodle. Next days they can buy all food you want and cook everything you want (we had perfect chicken soup, steaks, spring rolls, etc.). You can buy grocery yourself, there is the Pepito supermarket in 10 min drive in the Lovina village (very good and European one). The staff was very friendly, attentive to our needs and respective. As it was written before they have a day off on Sundays and state holidays (like a NY). So be ready to take care of yourself these days :) For us it was not a problem as well, We usually we cooked pour breakfasts ourselves, asked them to come later, or even not to come because of our day trip to the south for example. We were asked if we want to have our rooms cleaned and towels changed several times, so it is not going automatically and daily. The beach is right in front of the villa but unfortunately you cannot swim there because of rocks and litter. But if you go 100 meters right you can find the house-ship and you can swim in front of it. There is good clean sandy beach and all locals swim there. Ladies from staff will offer you sightseen trips and different car services. We used only dolphin trip, because the boat pick you up in front of the villa, and massage, because massage ladies come to the villa. For other trips we found another driver who was much cheaper than the initial offer. We can recommend him with a great pleasure because there was an excellent service, good car, beneficial prices and a very cool guy.
