We really enjoyed our stay at Marion's place and it's in a brilliant location in Rabat, right next to Mdina. The house had everything we needed and lots of character. Marion was also a great host and was very responsive when we had last minute issues or questions. The only thing I would mention is that it was sometimes hard to find a parking space in the mentioned car park close to the property - probably due to it being the busy Easter weekend! However, except for the night we arrived when a Good Friday parade was taking place, we did always manage to find one. In less busy periods I'm sure there would be no problem. Marion also left us some snacks and Easter goodies - our 2-year-old really enjoyed the chocolate bunny and eggs, so thank you for that thoughtful touch!

we had a wonderful time at Marion's the house is beautiful with lots of space plus spotlessly clean. The roof upstairs was lovely and sunny, a great place to sit and have coffee. The location is so central great to visit Mdina. lots to see and do locally plus some lovely restaurants. Marion was so helpful with any queries and also great to give us local information. we would definitely stay here again.

Since we wanted to be in the center of Rabat the location was perfect. There are several bars and restaurants in the vicinity but nonetheless the road was very quiet and we were not disturbed by the noise.The house was exactly what we expected and Marion was extremely helpful . If I go back to Rabat I would definitely try to stay there again. Thanks Marion

A very convenient position, close to buses, a variety of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores. Also a short walk to the walled city of Mdina. Our stay coincided with the Christmas market which was a unexpected attraction.  A typical Maltese ‘house of character', designed to be cool in the summer, with its thick stone walls, high ceilings, in a narrow pedestrian passage, where the sun doesn't easily penetrate. Sadly in December,  this meant the house was quite cold and damp, even with the use of electric heaters provided.  Renters should be aware of old plumbing; we had to be careful not to cause blockages. In the kitchenette, plates under the sink isn't great. There is no useable work surface. The kettle is in a precarious position. There's no handrail on the final flight of stairs; challenge for elderly. However, we had a pleasant break. Marion answered our queries promptly and we appreciated the starter provisions especially as our flight was delayed. Also later check out.

La maison de Marion est très bien située dans Mdina, à proximité de la citadelle, d'un parking et de nombreux commerces. Elle est très propre et agréable avec son patio et son toit terrasse. Il est facile de rayonner dans toute l'île, au sud, sur les plages où aller decouvrir Gozo au Nord.
